10.43am – More very heavy rain disturbed us in the night again; it makes a very loud noise on the roof of the caravan. However, we woke up to a beautiful morning with blue skies and a gentle breeze.
At the time of writing, I’ve had my cereal and am just enjoying my morning coffee. Helen has been down to the laundrette with our bedding, given that it’s such a good ‘drying day’, and is just enjoying her breakfast too. We’re currently discussing what our options are for this beautiful, sunny day.

12.39pm – Helen and I are driving up to Bude again this afternoon. There’s a big Sainsbury’s up there where we can replenish some of our food stocks and fill-up the car with diesel. We want to find a nice beach to visit whilst we’re out.
5.28pm – After a successful run to Bude to visit Sainsbury’s and refuel the car, we drove down to Widemouth Bay on the way back. It’s a really huge beach (wide!) with several surfing school trailers there offering lessons and gear hire. We had a nice walk down to the water’s edge (the tide was well out) and took a few pictures.

10.40pm – We’re just back from a delicious meal in The Wellington pub in Boscastle where we won the pub quiz – a £50 voucher which we used to part-pay for our dinner. What a good night!
