1.52pm – We had yet another night of heavy rain and strong winds last night. The rain hitting the roof of the caravan is quite loud when it’s heavy, so we had another fairly disturbed night. 🥲
I did a few domestic jobs around the caravan this morning – including changing a broken cover on our whale socket (fresh water into the van system), whilst Helen and Jacquie drove into Boscastle to visit the Museum of Witchcraft and Magic. Apparently, the museum was worth visiting and the ladies enjoyed the exhibition and reading about Cornish witches of the past.

This afternoon we’re driving over to Launceston for a visit. There is an interesting-looking castle ruin which we’d like to see.
3.05pm – Just arrived in Launceston. It looks quite a pretty market-town.

5.55pm – We had a nice walk around Launceston and had tea and cakes in a cafe. Unfortunately, the castle was closed today. That was a particular shame for Helen and me because we could have used our brand new English Heritage membership to get in free of charge! (We joined EH at Tintagel Castle the other day and have been looking at which other sites they have in Cornwall).
We’re off out again for dinner tonight on our last evening here prior to setting-off for our next caravan park at Trevedra Farm near Land’s End tomorrow.
9.07pm – We’ve just a fabulous meal at the Port William pub at Trebarwith. The views from our table are amazing, looking out to sea.
