12.09pm – After a fairly easy start to the day when we’ve had various domestic jobs to do around the caravan, we’re slowly getting ready to venture out again. It started-off misty/foggy again this morning, but not as bad as yesterday. The sky is a blanket grey and everything is very damp, but we’re not going to let that put us off. Helen’s sister Clare and her partner Gareth arrive here today and are staying in an AirBnB about two miles away from here.
1.38pm – At the moment we’re in Mousehole. What a stunningly beautiful little town! The roads driving down to the harbour where we parked are quite an experience. Very narrow, twisty and full of tourists!

The views are excellent and it’s warm. The sun is trying very hard to shine down on us.
We’ve come into a harbour-front restaurant for some lunch. The menu has lots of tempting fishy options. The options we chose were excellent.

4.30pm – We’ve just driven along to Marazion beach to have a quick peek at St Michael’s Mount. The causeway is submerged at the moment so we can only view the island from the mainland.

6.49pm – Having Collected Clare and Gareth and taken them to their AirBnB, Helen and I have returned to the caravan for a welcome cup of tea before we drive into Sennen Cove for a meal at the Old Success Inn pub where we visited yesterday for drinks. As it’s Clare’s birthday today we’re hoping we can make the occasion quite special.
11.15pm – After a lovely meal at the Old Success Inn at Sennen Cove, Helen and I are once more back in the caravan looking through all the photos of places we’ve been to today.
Clare’s birthday was a great success and she was very surprised when a big chocolate birthday cake arrived!
