2pm – We had a lot of jobs to do before we could leave Trevedra Farm this morning, hence the late first post of the day. The weather was very poor and the fog was very dense as we took down our (very wet!) awning to pack it away in its bag. We were hoping it would be going straight back up once we’d arrived at Looe, but having got here the weather is fully worse! However, we’re on our new pitch at Looe and all the basics: electricity, gas, water in, water out, chemical toilet and caravan security devices are set up and we’re just enjoying a cup of tea and a spot of lunch.
4.40pm – We drove down into Looe via the local farm shop where we bought a few bits to keep us going. Unfortunately, we really couldn’t see much in Looe for the fog, so we’ve come on to Polperro which is 3 miles away. Although it’s misty here too we decided to have a walk through the village. Polperro was high on my list of must-see places in this part of Cornwall.

6.20pm – Back at the caravan now. Polperro was beautiful, even on a damp misty day. It seemed more atmospheric as it was today. Helen and I had a cream tea which was very good.

9pm – We’ve just had dinner with Garry and Jacquie in their caravan. Unfortunately, it’s raining very heavily again now.
